I would love to share our fireplace project!
Mr. Shields and his crew made this amazing transformation happen. I absolutely love our new fireplace. My husband and the kids uninstalled the old fireplace, but we couldn’t make any progress for two years after that.

Then I found Pro-Finish and looked through their amazing work. Finally, I decided to move forward with redoing our fireplace. We have been looking for a quality trim carpenter for awhile and recently needed some new sturdy handrails installed as well as a built in shelving where previous drawers existed. John was prompt about responding, got us scheduled right away and provided a beautiful finished project. Our homes are Victorian and the handrails look like they have always been there. Our recent bed and breakfast inn guests at Holden House already commented on how much they appreciated having the extra sturdiness and safety of the handrail on our stairwells. John & Bill were very professional & detail oriented. We had a tricky corner of the staircase cut out, replaced & you couldn't notice with the finish. Highly recommend!

Just what we needed. John, the owner, came by for the estimate and was on time and very friendly. His bid was competitive, fair, and the work was completed in a timely manner. During the estimate he told me exactly what to purchase for the job and on the day of install he was present to line out his other carpenter. Job site was cleaned when they finished and we were happy we choose Pro-finish.
